I must say that I'm impressed with the way the car ran this weekend. 12.16@110.6 in 92 degree heat. Unfortunately the performance started going downhill from there. I ended up with a 12.32 @ 109.8 on my final pass. The car was smoking pretty badly. It looks like the motor is taking in oil from somewhere. I pulled the #3 plug and found that it was saturated in oil. Coincidentally, that is the same cylinder that had a broken spring a couple months back so it is possible that I may have a bad valve guide or valve seal. I did pull a couple more plugs and so no evidence of oil, though it did look like I'm running very lean. I don't know why especially since the car was dynotuned.

nice. what kinda 60' times you pull, and im assuming its the stock rear end with 3.73s. how does it like those tall gears and your big slicks?

Good times man, but I'm gonna be honest, I saw "12 teens in the heat" and didn't quite realize that this thread was about times. Such dissapointment but still neat, lol.

The 60' on the 12.16 pass was a 1.61. The best 60' after that was a 1.65, which is why I knew something wasn't right. I do have 3.73s gears, but they are in 12 bolt rear. ET streets are 26/10.5. I normally run them at 14 psi. My best 60' so far has been a 1.55 and my best mph has been 116.1.
