http://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge/4l60e.htm The 4L60-E is compatible with all 90 degree Chevrolet Small and Big Block style engines, including the Chevy V6. |
yep, just dont try that backwards compatibility crap ;)
it will work but internally won't hold up, also if it's a 2.8 it won't bolt up (been there tried that way different bolt pattern)
yah but i am talking bout a s10 like i said with a v6 in it which would be the 4.3 liter, which is a 5.7 liter, 350 with 2 cylinders missing! I did not say ne thing to do with a 2.8 liter........
s10's had 2.8s also
but did the 2.8 liter come with the 700r4,,,,,,,, i know the 4.3 did!?!
yep in the late '80's the 2.8 was offered as a step down from the 4.3 and up from the 2.5 (even though it made no power at all)
well i said 91, which would be early 90's,:youreowne
enouph of this thread its led to nothing now, and is worthless a waist of space :banghead: |
true I'm not sure when 2.8 production ended though
well to be honest they did make 2.8's in 91, but for get this thread we are getting know were, my friend has already bought a tranny lol
tci?
what does tci mean lol
that's the trans company that builds bullett proof 700's for about a grand
My '93 has a 700R4 in it from the factory. The F-Body went electronic in '94.
man this stuff is kinda confusing. whats even worse are the older dodges. each car is specified as a big block or small block and stick or auto. everythign is different just cause of that stuff. its not a matter of mounts and stuff.lol, my car has a 350+ horse trans and the motors puttin out a whole 150 at most prolly.lol
