'99 Camaro, Shall I or shall I not?
I have ben looking at a camaro now. Its a '99 Z28 with 83000miles.
6-speed manual and new paintjob. The owner say its in good condition with no recorded faults.
The bad thing is, it's not an SS and it's Blue (not black or silver as i want).. so i dont know.
The price is about right for it, its alredy in Sweden and wich is a +.
$19000, And thats a cheep camaro in sweden.
Wat i was thinking of was to go to the US and buy one there and bring it over.
whats your 2cents

Well its hard to say being that you are over there- if it was in US and that was $$US it would obviously be way overpriced. But not knowing the conversion rate and shipping/import rates its harder to say as well.
The only thing that might concern me is that the car has been repainted- even though the record is clean, it might have been in some kind of wreck and paid out of pocket. But from the picture it looks clean to me. Guess its up to you and how much it is to get the car you really want.

I agree, I dont know about the money over there in sweden, But if you say It is a good deal I would check it through, take it for a test drive. Just overall look for any flaws in it and ask questions about everything you see.

Yes I have been thinking about that repaint as whell. Sounds abit od that such a new car has ben repainted.
The problem about going by my selv and look and drive it is the distance.. the car is located 940miles away from me.. quite a bit to drive on ice roads:P
Usaly camaro's lays around $23000. But with this low dollar (one dollar is aprox 6.3kronor usaly above 7 and almost up to 8kronor) its a good deal going to USA and buy one.. but the hard thing is to finde a camaro from over here and then have sombody you trust to go look at it and then buy it for you.

The car is 100% stock =( exept for those ugly BMW rims.
A friend of mine who lives in the area are supose to go and test drive the car for me. And based on what he say i will try to get the price down to atleast $15600.
But cant i get it below that i wont buy it.
archemedes: Yes that will cost me about $1500, not that mutch but still after that i have the problem with customs, and registration in sweden, and that can be a real pain in the as!
