k nm, we got it. My dad didn't realize that the puller could be used to install too... "Back in the day we just tapped the pulley back onto the shaft."

and ruined the shaft (never ever hammer a pulley it will bend every time)

Nah, the shaft is fine, same with the pulley.

I'll bet there is a slight bend to it won't show right away but the belt won't last as long, neither will the seal

atleast the belt is life time warranty.

I always liked lifetime parts warranties brakes for instance it is the life of the part (ever read the fine print)
