Bad shocks maybe?

Ok when I'm driving and hit a bump I hear a squeak. My car doesn't make the noise all the time just most of the time. Also if I take off from a red light kind of quick (enough to make the rear end dip) I hear the same squeak. I'm thinking bad shocks, just want a second opinion.

yeah i have the same thing, but if you go to each corner of the car and push down you can test each shock. if they come back up you have no problem. squeaking just means you need to grease the bushings and ball joints, but our cars have sealed bushings so i dont know how to grease em

I think you just take a grease gun with a needle on the end stick it in the boot.

yeah i guess you could just grease around em, but when i went to jiffy lube i asked em to grease my suspension and they said they couldnt on my car its a sealed bushing setup. so i took my car into my shop class and put it on the lift, i know jiffy lube people are stupid so i figured they were wrong. well i found out i was, you cant use a grease gun and grease the zurk fittings.

the bushings are permanently lubed supposedly adding grease will actually do more harm than good, teh squeak could be a number of things from a bad rubber bushing to shocks to something rubbing, see if you can recreate it by pushing down on the fender

well mine squeak too but my shocks are good...thats good enough for me...but since youre picky...

i'd get under the car and take a look at the bushings: control arm, panhard, and even the ones on the shocks...if they look dried out or like theyre falling apart thats probably the problem. bad bushings
