well headers will come with the 3400 swap cause the only ones that will fit on the 3400 swap is the pacesetters so id have to get them

yea but still everyone on here is sayin a cam wont help but i dont understand that because the valves would be changed in how they open possibly because of how restrictive the intake and heads are so the 3400 swap would make it alot less restrictive and the cam would help out after.....in theory

yea im kinda with everyone else where it seems like more work than its worth but u said ur a mechanic and everything so u can probably estimate what ull gain and if the work is easy for u then id say go for it

If you're a mechanic and can do the work yourself to avoid high labor costs then I say it's your car, and if you want a cam then go for it. I just wouldn't expect any miracles out of a cam swap on a 3.4 as far as performance.
