My 1991 camaro has a worn out top door hinge. I got a new hinge set up but cant see any welds to cut it off. Do these hinges epoxy glue on or are they spot welded. Has anyone cut one off and replace one before. I am so far in now I cant drive my car til I get the new hinge on. Thanks in advance!!!

spot welded on, an air hammer works to remove them (hte spot welds are towards the center of the hinge if you rub your finger around lightly you should feel them)

thanks a million man we finally got it off. took alot more than i had expected now we have to smooth it out and align it where the old one was im thinkin of using bolts at first to get it aligned then welding once I get it in the exact position so I dont have to bust the welds.
