Here's a quick tip for ya-
instead of masking off the entire motor to paint those little letters, just take the same paint, a piece of waxed cardboard i.e.-cereal box, and some Q-tips. Spray the paint on the cardboard and then use the q-tips to dab it onto the intake. Since the intake is cast it doesn't need to be smooth and you will be saving all the time to mask everything off. It might take a couple coats, but it will be A LOT easier and quicker with virtually the same result.
Your other option would be some engine degreaser. Make sure all your connections are tight before you do it. Spray it on there and let it soak, then VERY GENTLY spray some water to wash it away. The only other thing is make sure your motor is stone cold before spraying anything on it.
Those tips should help ya out..
