Update!
The orange is gone! (except for the intake manifold, I haven't gotten to that yet.) Here's a couple pics. I also took a little time to clean up the plastic and rubber under there. Everything's nice and shiny now.
I figure that's about all the red loom I can add before it starts looking tacky. The next project is to take the alternator off and clean it up a bit. It's easy enough to remove, so why not?
