What is the life expectancy of a 305 and 350. Lets say I start off with 70k miles on a 5.7 how much longer would it last to reliably?

I just looked one up for a customer and most were around 150k for sale a bunch well over 200k if you change the oil regularly and do maintenance it will last for a very long time, a 305 won't last quite as long typically though. My last 350 had 375k on it when I rebuilt it, and it still ran well in an old farm truck

that is very unusual for the 305 the small cylinders and the bad cams tend to kill them faster

most 305's make about 120 stock the cylinder bores are too small to be real efficient
