Yah it was actually dome by 1 day paint and body. Same type of establishment as macco. I forget that sometimes cause the first quote i got was from Macco but they didt want to do custom. Then Lisa talked to the nice fellow there at One day and said he'd do it. Thats what happened. I really do feel dumb.
But back to the issue at hand. I think what I'm going to do is secure a nice rebuilt tranny (found a deal from a guy on Cz28.com) and just have the shop swap them out. Then maybe at a later date i can have the current one rebuilt (maybe i'll do it myself hahahaha) and sell it off to recoup some cost. I think this is an easier way to do it and it may actually be cheaper in the long run. But i'm just throwing ideas around in my head right now. Nothing needs to be done right away since i'm still pimpin the ***.... tro van. Which oddly smells like cat **** latly. heh.

Money is always an issue- just make sure you do it right Grant- tryin to cut a corner to save $200 will only cost you 3x that much down the road..do it right the first time or do it twice.

If you want I can keep an eye out for you. I got mine with 5k miles on it for $300 stage 4 with shift kit. I also bought the 3k stall that was in it for another $250. The tranny is just bad ***. Took awhile to get used to the poly mount though. I still need to get a hold of Madz to change my shift points. I will tell you this, if you are installing a tranny get a good stall. That thing really woke the car up and is a blast to drive. Now I need to get some drag radials cause it fries the street tires without even trying. The shift kit barks the tires into third. Too bad you don't have a 93 cause the same guy still has the non electronic version which is built even more than mine. This guy had a ton of stuff from his shop and was selling everything off to build a full blown 1/4 mile car. I don't know where he got the stuff or why everything was so cheap but he gaurenteed the tranny and said I would be more than happy with it. Needless to say I am more than happy. As for the tranny install. It is really pretty easy with the right tools and a friend. I had it easy cause I had a friend with a lift. But it can be done on the ground with a trans jack and would say it could be done that way over a weekend with out breaking a sweat.

JPack, i've been all over Ebay, trust me. Most of those want an arm and a leg to ship on top of a core charge. $700 tranny ends up being $1300 real quick. I just dont have that right now. Please do keep an eye out for me though. Any help is much apreciated.
