i did this mod, but i deleted my whole heat system since i dont drive it in the winter anymore. its supposed to lower intake temps since the coolant in the TB wont warm up the incoming air. there is a rumor that in "colder climates" the cold air can freeze the throttle body. what that means, im not positive and what temps, i dont know either. from the research i did a lil while back on TGO, i didnt come up w/ any specifics, but from what ive heard on there, as long as its not in major freezing conditions, youll be ok. so i guess, depending on how cold your area gets, maybe you want to do it, or maybe not. up to you, thats just what ive heard.

Only other 3.8 free mod I can think of is opening up the bottom of the air box and getting rid of the air baffles.

If you haven't done that, its pretty simple. I noticed better power when cruising on the highway, and you can really tell more air is getting into the system (my filter gets dirty much faster).
