I would be careful de-vaning the MAF- some cars don't like it very much and it will actually hurt your performance a little. At most until you get serious I would just de-screen it.

There are other 'free' mods out there too- one off hand that I can think of is that you can disable the skip-shift thru the computer on the 94-95 cars without a chip or the plug- I forget which wires it is because I did it on my old car and I can just tune it out now. If you want to know, do a search on it, I'm too lazy at the moment. Ill try and remember some of the other ones- I know they are out there..

yeah i agree. its kinda along the same reasoning as the TB. its not worth upgrading until you get deep into the motor. when i first ported my MAF i did notice it seemed to lack a bit of power, then i came to realize i gained a tad bit top end so my powerband musta shifted.

either that, or im crazy. i didnt expect much gain anyway so it was probably in my head.

oh yeah i forgot about that one. i think my car has the eliminator in it. i cant remember what i did...it was the very first thing i did.
