thats a common thing people have done, but you shouldn't drive, it's basicaly pour it in start engine idle for a minute shut off drain, not needed with regular oil changes, and todays oils with detergents

Well today i went under the hood and went to take the radiator cap off to look inside to see if the Antifreeze was low but i guess being my dad just drove the car to me and it was only sitting for an hour, it sorta bursted out not alot of it though, but it was still hot, so would this mean i need to drain all of it and then put new coolant in if its full and not working, and how would i be able to drain it myself?

oh and it was really like mud brown when it came out i saw it, i dont think its supposed to be that color is it?

Anti Freeze is cheap enough to where you should just change it. It was mud brown most likely cuz you only had water in it. Water dispences heat better than anti freeze, however it doesnt anti freeze and antifreeze has stuff to stop rust n crap. Up 2 u tho.

they put it in with the oil? thats not what your supposed to do. you put the tranny fluid into the carb and let it burn that. it cleans the carbon deposits and junk. lotsa smoke outta the exhaust, but it works good.

to drain look near the bottom of the radiator there is a petcock turn it with the engine cold, you will want a pan under there to catch the old stuff, and dispose of properly. been so long since I did an f body I can't remember where the thing is though, also pull the cap off
