Fuel pump bucket

Ok, moving right along.

Anyone who has had a hand in the fuel pump assembly on these cars knows of the bucket. To get to the fuel pump you have to (carfully) pry the top off the bucket.

What have you guys used to seal the bucket back up after replacing the pump? I tried RTV sealant last time and the gas just ate it up. Any sugestions of something that will hold, not fall apart from the gas, and NOT contaminate the fuel supply?

I would just try an autoparts store and ask them what they recommend- I honestly don't know and I didn't take that apart when I did my fuel system swap

I realized that now... Sall good, a recomendation from a friend on Z28.com said to use this "Seal All" stuff that is suposed to be solvant resistant. I picked some up from Autozone this morning and let it set and dry for a good 10 hours. I just put it all back together a few minutes ago and Epic once again roared to life. A week too late for Rim of the World but hell - at least shes back.
