Transmission Fluid and Filter Change.

What do you Automatic 700R4 Guys Use? I want to Spend around 40-60 Bucks.. Also, Has anyone Tried the Seafoam/TransTune Stuff to flush their Transmission?

not sure what to tell you. just get any filter and gasket kit that comes with a rubber gasket. shouldn't cost more than 20 bucks i think. just get any fluid thats not a generic brand and youll be good

since you race maybe u wanna try some b&m trick shift fluid or probably lucas oil would be good

I dont plan on drag racing again for a while. Going to School in a Diffrent State.

I guess I'll Ask around and see if anyone knows about that Trans Tune/Seafoam.

never used the transtune (don't like adding anything to any fluid) I use regular dexron III and a standard filter kit

He might have been low on fluid then. Personally I wouldnt use it either unless Im getting ready to change the fluid, Then I might run it for a little bit with it before I flush it.

no additive will fix a check engine light, it may have been something was sticking, or getting too hot in which case regular fluid would have done the same
