Gear question

Do they make a 3.90 gear for our cars?

I've got the 4.10's in mine right now, and I think its a little too steep for that T-5, so I figured while I was replacing my posi i'd replace the 4.10's with some 3.90's if they make them.

I know they make them for the 12 bolts and 9" rears but I've never seen them for the normal ten bolt. What about 3.73's?

I've had 3.73's in it before, and its not quite enough; the 4.10's are too much. So I was looking for inbetween the two..

yeah 3.90 is a ford ratio. its either 4.10 or 3.73s. just keep what you have but swap a T56 to take care of the high speed loss.

I wish.

The bellhousing is wayyyy too different. A t56 wont even come close to mounting up. If that had been the case, i'd just get a t56 a long time ago.

But on another note, I think my output shaft bearing is going out anyway. Im getting a whirring grinding noise when im at 2k rpm+ and im off the throttle and clutch. And as far as I know, you cant get an output shaft bearing seperate from the tranny.
