yeh SLP definitely does not suck .. If SLP isnt the best for most power why do they specialize in modifying fbodys? They actually did a comparison of intakes in one of the issues of GMHTP magazine back in the day.. i wish i still had it to prove that SLP gives more power than K&N.

but how about their mustang parts? they don't specialize in any one brand. The big thing with intakes is there is no real world way to test them since you can't do a dyno test and you can get different times with 2 identical cars at the strip (which is why most magaines won't do a compary of brand to brand)

I had a K&N on my 3.4 i loved it but i got a moroso on my Z28 it flows real good

ive got a k&n on my 3.4 but now that i look back i like the design of the SLP a lot better. either way there isnt going to be but a 2-3 hp diff in the brands. not a life or death decision so just go with that u like

I ended up getting this one-its not in my car yet tho, i really wish i would have gotten a name brand but oh well i hope this one works just as good:

yes, my friend payed more than double for a 68 camaro, worth maybe 9,000 at absolute MAX and he payed around 17,000 and hes already put 4grand into it and its not even close to good yet.

ebay has been pretty much nothing but great for me... see my car? it was built from eBay. Hood, spoiler, wheels, lights, and all of that was from eBay....

well steph there is a nice hiss from the engine with a CAI, and ebay is good, i can tell by seeing you bought both the 9005 and 9006 hyperwhites for $15! i spent $40!!! good find!

Thanks after u told me all the info about what bulbs i needed and what to do, i went on there to find them, and i printed out the instructions u sent me so thanks for helpin me
