The deal with the title was that he wrecked his bike and the insurance company or someone took the camaro until he paid or something. he went to court for the title and won but they never gave it to him.

Strip it, rebuild the tranny and engine. Take all the parts you need and sell the rest. The money you make on the parts you sell would help 'twords the rebuild. Drop it all into your car, keep the V6 insurance $$ and have fun.

What are you waiting for man? A 1972 RS for that price is very low, unless it's all rusted out with no motor, trans or rearend. I've had (2) '73 Z28's, but I would have loved an RS with the split nose bumper.

I'd forget about that other one and jump all over the 72. But that's just me.

The 72 runs, has aa v8, not sure exactly. its primered. me and my dad are restoring a 72 z28 and ive always like the RS front ends more. we're prolly gonna go look at the RS this weekend.
