Got some problems, car is bogging, any ideas?

Hey all, I'm just trying to see if anyone else has had this problem and found a solution to it.

Got my car out of storage about a month ago, used some fuel treatment before I started it (just cause I was worried it was sitting all winter). It was working fine, but I started to notice about a week an half ago some weird stuff.

1995 Z28
Cat-Back SLP
55k miles

Here is what is happening:
-When I start it up, it almost sounds like it is misfiring. Like it'll cut out one cylinder for some reason, and its random too, no kind of pattern.

-If I am driving and I try and I but it to the floor, I get a whole lot of back firing (I have SLP loudmouth exhaust) accompanied by a large loss in power, which is something I did not get a lot at all before this problem. And the same thing will happen, it'll kind of bog. It seems a bit better when it shifts, but still not 100%.

-If I have it in drive (my car is automatic) and it is "idle rolling" and I have my foot on the break slightly, it seems to get worse, and I can feel it stammer. Same thing in reverse.

-For some reason, it seems better after the engine heats up a bit, but like I said earlier, it is not 100%.

I am going to my mechanic tomorrow, I just want to see if anyone has any ideas on what it can be?

Here is what I got:
- I don't think its the fuel pump because when it heats up it gets better. So that leads me to believe it is either the plugs or the injectors that can be the problem. (hopefully it is something small).
Does anyone thing it could be my tranny??

Anyone have any ideas, or ever have this problem?

Any information is really appreciated!

Thanks guys!
-Ethan

Probably is the plugs or injectors like you said, or maybe the coil... But how's the oil pressure? It might be shot bearings.

Thanks for replying, and sorry for the delay, I had to go down to Pennsylvania to help out at an air show. The pressure seems normal to me. Does anyone think I can change the spark plugs on my own? I hear it is quite the project.

I'm not sure on the LT1, but normally sparkplugs are very easy to do, and quick. You should be able to do it on your own. Just remember where to put all the sparkplug wires, which is shown in a Chiltons or Haynes manual. It's also a pretty cheap fix, so give it a try and get back to us...

I had the exact same problem with my LS1. One of the plug wires had worked it's way off the plug someone and that's what caused it.
