granatelli maf

do you guys know what the difference is between the granatelli mass air meters between the lt1s and ls1s. i was looking for a used one on ebay but all i saw were ones for ls1s. just wonderin if there was anyway to make it work. thanks

hmmm i dont know but i highly doubt it..... the intake system is set up on the cars differently.... also when i look in magazines they have diff part #'s....

I think there is an adapter for it (I could be wrong) I know there is for the grand prix (and the experts all said don't bother it doesn't flow any better once the screen is removed)

i don't want the ls1 unit particularly, i just figured i could find a cheaper one on ebay rather than paying like 300 new, but all i saw were the ones for ls1s

ya if its going to be a pain in the *** to make it work than i'll just wait til i find a used lt1 unit or just save up and buy one new...college is really putting a dampering on my modifying but i'll get around it somehow

ya, i saw in an ls1 tech magazine (i think thats what itwas) that they put one on a 95 z and dyno'ed like an additional 19 horse and 22 ft/lbs at the wheels, it sounded way too easy for those numbers...

there was a company that took all of the factory ones and the aftermarket, they got a couple hp from descreening,most that flowed at all better the computer had to be reprogramed since the a/f was screwy, and the maf isn't the real restriction
