Holley Stealth Ram Intake or NOT?

I went to the drag strip on friday and i saw a guy running low to mid 13's in a 350 Camaro like mine. He said he had Edelbrock headers, cam, and a certain kind of Intake that replaces the TPI. He even showed me it but now i can't remember the name of it. He recommended me getting the Holley "Stealth Ram" intake and told me it was like $600. Ccome to find out a website is telling me its like $2,000. Anyone of any opinions at all on this? Is the Stealth Ram really that much? What Intake could he of possibly had? Should I get this insted of the SLP package? Need opinions please! Thanks.

P.S. I don't know much about intakes. :P

I would say the holley is good, what you saw number one was priced high, and a full retro fit kit to convert a carb to injection http://www.sdpc2000.com/search.asp?s...pe=3&doQuery=1

ah, ok. Thanks. Do you think this would be worth the money? Would there be any other things i would have to change to put this in? Would i have to take off my stock IROC hood to fit the Stealth Ram in? Thanks.

should fit under your hood, and well worth the money on the top end (the tpi intake is only good up to around 4000 rpm) may have to get a tune on the ecm, but not a whole lot

Ok. I guess here is my final question. Should i go with the SLP Cold Air Induction Package, SLP Runners. Or just go with the Stealth Ram Intake?

I think i have came to the conclusion that i want to get the Stealth Ram Intake but does anyone know with stock injectors if i should get the adjustable fuel regulator or non-adjustable fuel regulator.
