How can I clean the engine bay?
#17
I thought that the optispark pack was sensitive to water, so I kinda refrained from using high pressure water to clean my engine bay. I did use some royal purple degreaser which is biodegradable and some no touch and looks good. anyone used a home water hose? would that be ok for the optispark?

I use to detail cars, and cleaning the engine bay is very simple. First cover places that will get water like the alternator. Then rinse it off with a power washer, but be careful where you spray. Then using your degreaser spray everywhere, use a tooth brush and some small scrubs go over areas with dirt.
Once that is done get the power washer and spray it all off. If you have access it an air compressor, spray off most of the water then dry it with a rag.
Now to detail the engine bay, tire shine works wonders on the plastic and just about anywhere under the hood.
