no, hes saying any TPI motor will be about the same unless the 350 is built a little, in which case it will move decently. stock for stock tho, 305 and 350=like...... 200 horse.lol

To be honest- if the car was in awesome shape and looked great, I would get a 305 if the price was right. Everything will bolt right up from the 305 to the 350. 350 blocks are a dime a dozen typically. You can build a 300hp 350 VERY easily and without even trying that hard.
Honestly I would concentrate more on looks than whether its 305 or 350. As long as you are starting 8 cyls you will be fine. If the hp itch gets you its easy enough to bump your cubes.
