new gears between 100-200. used posi... Id be careful.. The one I got thought was good, still making noises 2 months later. Id say anywhere from 100 up for that. Youll need an install kit, about 80 from summit. Gear oil I think is like 10 bucks. Youll need a tune, which I still have not got because theyre too expensive. You can send your pcm in for tuning, still like 250 dollars or some crazy price.

All said and done I paid about 500 for mine so far... and I got a decent deal on my used stuff, but like I said, for me I havent even enjoyed them becuase Im afriad my rear end is going to shatter and I have no idea how fast Im going.

price of gears and gear oil I believe.. youll still need a tune too. I dont think youll need an install kit, but im not 100%.. I think its just for a new carrier.

A new set of gears can run you about 100-200 as Justin said, As for a posi Id be careful as well on getting a used one (even with gears) A posi new is like 200+ dollars there not cheap. I got mine from a friend so I got a deal same with my gears. As far as install thats all depends on where u go and who does it. I personally would go to a shop that specializes on F-Bodys in that area...I am anyways. Your car wont need a FULL tune after a gear install just a speedo change which should only take like 2mins to do its a simple change in the computer. Problem is you gota find someone who can do your year/model car which is a pain for a V6 since not many people tune them compared to a V8.
