$5500 for car-

$$-Too much to think about..I would say to rebuild what I will have by summer would take an EASY 12-14 grand in aftermarket alone..then addin in the price of the car.

Considering the following-

$3000 into short block, plus heads ect...
$3000 for the Moser 9"
$3500 for Procharger- (I got a smoking deal of lifetime but for cost of new)
$1400 in fuel system upgrades

I haven't even begin to think about just the visual upgrades and all the little stuff that adds up along the way..

Thats why I don't like to think about it- makes me wonder if its really worth it sometimes...

Well, like Force_Fed_Z had to say......I have so many different little things I've bought and had done to it, there's no way to come up with something more than a rough estimate.

I do know that I paid:
$10,500.00 for the car
$620.00 Tax & Lic.
$12,769.00 in Receipts for Mods
I don't have any Receipts for labor that was done by friends so,.....that's where I can't give you anything more than a guess.

I'd say somewhere right around $25,000 *As he fall's back in his chair and mumbles: "Man,......what I could buy for 25K*

Phsh......and I haven't even started on the performance end of the car yet!
I'll be into it easily over 30K before I'm done......and it will barely be worth 1/2 of that if I were to try and sell it.
The only Plus I have going for me, is the fact that it has mega low miles....that's it.

The Austin F-Body has a garage setup that I try to keep updated. It has a list of all of my mods & approximate prices.

http://www.afbforums.com/index.php?&...ODE=12&CID=250

Or, if you're too lazy to click on the link:

$11,000 for the car
$5,710 in mods (that I have done personally...the car already had a few mods before I bought it)

Well, it looks like I take the cake. Assuming retail on everything, I'm a little over $18,000 in mods.

Well i bought Epic for around $10,000 5 years ago.

As far as mods... over the years (and remember she's been threw 2 major transformations) and was bone stock when i started... I'll have to calculate it all out later on to be exsact but i'm sure it's a good $25,000-$30,000 in mods easily.
