So my car crapped out the other weekend. Well I had it towed to a shop to diagnose the problem because I didn't have time anymore. Well they told me that the cap and rotor were shot. So I just replaced it with an MSD Opti and the stupid thing still won't start. I haven't gone and checked the whole spark test thing because it is 2:00am and I am fed up. Any other suggestions. I have also replaced the ICM and I have a blaster coil

When I had a MSD blaster coil awhile back, I went to a shop to diagnose the same problem. They told me the same thing...cap and rotor. It ended up being the MSD coil. I don't run MSD products anymore because everytime I do, they fry within a couple weeks. I went through two ignition boxes and a coil in two months.

Well my coil was fine for the last two years. Everything is running great now.

cap and rotor...I am doing an inginiton upgrade in the future but keeping the stock coils...
