i talked to Lloyd a while ago and he said the heads wont make a differenc for emmisions with the LE1 or even like LE2 heads but the LE1 cam is on the line of being able to pass, sometimes it might sometimes it might not. my plan with my camaro was his LE1 heads with an LT4 hotcam kit. the hotcam has repeditively passed smog on tons of OBD1 cars without problems and makes usually around 330 at the wheels with the basic bolt ons and no other engine work really.

Go for the LT4 Hot Cam Package. I have it in my 94 and I love it. Plus you get the cool orange intake with the package.

well your car is a 97 so with the OBD 2 all you need is to find someone who can tune it. if its tuned and running correctly you can pass with an LE3 setup in an OBD2 car just need to let the PCM know whats goin on.

GM stopped making the LT4 intake months ago, if you want a hotcam kit you better hurry up.

ive made my decision its either going to be the lt4 cam not the kit or a comp cam 220/230 510/510 ls:114 http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...h.asp.....with this cam i would need to have the car tuned and i
dont know how much that will cost
