I did revs in order of 2k, 2.5k 3k, 4k, 5k and back down. The rasp disappears when driving. Its getting even better

what did you record it with, better yet what type of file was it? Sound does not work because its a ****** codec.

the file is a WAV file... it is 17mb so it will take a while to download. Give it a while. It works fine for me.

Yes, I know what Im doing too. When it says error downloading codec, thats usually a sign that the codec doesnt work well with others. You obviously have it already which would explain why only you can hear it.

btw, you only need one space in your links.

not sure what to do then.... The audio I uploaded was raw. I listened to it on 3 other computers now... its working fine.

Find the codec pack from microsoft. I forget what they call it, but you should be able to find it easily in the WMP downloads section. It includes all important codecs.

I will try uploading to another site, but it will probably give the same thing since it will still be played by WMP. Update codecs. I have 3 computers playing it fine.

Another thing you could do is convert it. 17 megs of a raw wav is pretty big for just a sound clip. I wouldnt worry about quality, clips dont sound like the real thing anyway.

If you record the right way with the right microphone and correct placement, it will sound exactly as it does.

k... well Im just saying the clip isnt working for people, and I dont feel like browsing microsofts site for a sound codec pack just to listen to an audio clip. I was givig suggestions becuase I doubt people here are going to go through that trouble.

yea works better as the mp3 file and im suprised that i didnt have the codec needed cause i have an insane amount of codecs on my computer from watching anime and other things i download through my computer, but if u have one of those microphones in the link thats crazy and what else do u use it for cause i know u didnt buy it for 1 minute sound clips for ur car lol

Personally, I think flowmaster 80's sound like crap, and 40's sound good on many cars.
