Depends on the person, if it is a woman I usually won't look it up cause half the time they question me like I don't know what I'm doing. Soi I just send them off with the unversional stuff. No offense to the ladys heres but I hate it how the majority of women do not know jack about mechanic work yet they will tell you you don't know what your doing.

I like the universal, it works well (wasn't sure when I got teh gp what it had, but it was too low to see, so I bought universal to be safe until a change could be done)

Aint that the truth, i hate people like that, this one lady was flipin out on me cause i didnt know what v-belt she needed she didnt have the car, there were two differnt ones like from the alternator to the power steering etc.. and she flipped she was like i remeber a few years ago up here people knew what they were doin, they were like mechanics, the manager seen me gettin irriated and told me to sell her both of them at a discount, she came back a few hours latter and was apologizing to me cuz she realized there are more that one belt on her car, and she was like well next time ill be nice, and i hope you will be too, i was like wtf you *****... i was like oooook im just doing my job...

I sell a lot of that universal stuff, its pretty expensive compared to the rest... i had a few cars come in sayin they had pink antifreeze and i just sold them the universal stuff cuz the pink stuff we have is made for marine stuff...

i agree somethings up even if its just the senser wouldnt you rather get it fixed so you car is in top shape instead of just driving around tell something happens when that light could of actually helped you
