LS6 Manifold Swap Part 1!!!

Well here is the proccess in order to take it apart and prep the new manifold to be put on. From a stock LS1 intake manifold to an LS6 intake manifold, EGR Delete, Coolant Pipe Revision etc!

Part one, Start unbolting !

Part Two, take of off fuel rail cover and vaccuum lines and more ...

Part Three, take a break, cause you dont want to break poor ol' oil pressure sending unit!

Part 4, Show off the Z06 intake manifold that you custom painted high gloss 500 degree ceramic paint w/ clear coat and make fun of how the old one looks plain!

Part 5, about to go to sleep and finish this tomorrow!!!!

well let me find the specs right quick!

ok here they are

LS1:

Plenum Volume: 5.06 Liters
Runner Length: 262 mm
Runner Volume: .536 Liters

LS6:
Plenum Volume: 5.19 Liters
Runner Length: 262mm
Runner Volume: .541 Liters

so the runners are the same length, over all runner volume is .004 bigger per runner which over all is .032 Liters bigger runner volume

Ported Yourself?!?!... hmmm don't seem right... If i can remember someone else ported it and you made this bigger and smother but porting... hmmm... and you forgot to include your main man who help with the swap cause he has done it about a million times before with his own..

Oh ya heres my engine by without the STB..
