Motor Mounts

Is it possible to change motor mounts with the motor in. I was thinking of just jacking the motor up a little unbloting the engine from the mounts and replaceing them with the motor suported by a jack is this possible??

yes it's possible, is it easy not at all. you may have to unbolt the trans to get enough height, before starting on it take the car to your favorite car wash and use the degreaser and clean the area really well, get a new cap and rotor in case you break it (the distributor may hit teh firewall be careful)

Those motor mount bolts spin in their bore. You have to get a wrench/ratched on the bottom side (have to do it with your springs on there or take your front springs out) and then turn the top part. Gonna say its a two person job really but i guess you could do it by urself. Have fun, tell me how many curse words you said in the process

air tools make it a 2 hour job, without a 2 day job your choice, and pretty much anything energy suspension is good, you need to do teh trans mount too or it will tear up and you will notice a little more vibration since the poly doesn't give as much
