i had an offroad y-pipe and decided to buy the slp loudmouth. after it was on i knew i had to change something. it was ridiculously loud but was raspy as sh*t and was lacking tone , since i needed to pass emissions anyway i threw 2 magnaflow cats on my y-pipe and it took care of the raspiness. its really smooth and deep at steady idle but barks hard at full throttle. i've heard alot of sweet Zs around, but honestly, i think the setup i have going sounds the meanest.

yah my buddy has a ls1 Z.. with headers and straight pipe all the way back (slp loudmouth) and boy is it loud .... I have headers on my lt1 with straight pipe all the way back to the muffler.. and its a 96 with the dual cats. but its straight pipe write there and i was wondering why my car is not very loud.. the mufler shops says i have a flowmaster... and its not to loud.... jw i though it should be a lot louder

Yah same here.... it has a nice sound... but not that loud roar i want.... i was wondering if there is a better muffler instead of switching out the whole exhaust..... i want a muffler that has pretty much free flow.... does any one know were you can get a bassani muffler for 93-97 Z?

That would look good with true duals but it is a pain to put true duals on our cars.

yah i also thought about TD... i know a guy that a lot of people go to around here.. he is a older man who owns his own shop.. he is real good.. he said it was hard to do on our car.. but he said he would run TD's on my car for atleast 250 no more than 300... he would be supplying mufflers and 3.5" tips.... i thought that was a pretty good deal...

Chris what year is your Z28 (felt weird saying that). I know the special Cali versions in 95 and the newer Camaros all have routes for dual exhausts. The years before that do not have routes to run the exhaust so you end with one side tucked under one side and the other pipe hanging real low.
