man...i think your gonna need more carb then a 650 vac. secondary......i ran a 780 vac. secondary on my 355 i had for a while and it couldnt keep up with my motor. after about 4800-5000 it would fall on its face.

780 is too big for a 355 it probably loaded up 650 should be ok my cutlass has a 750 on the 355 with a non streetable setup, it could use just a little less but the 700 cfm didn't work well

if he builds a rather hefty 406, then a 650 is not goin to be enough for that motor. And i said 780 vac. secondary....it was a rather well build 355....so i put a 650 double pumper and it worked just fine.

I don't bother with vaccuum secondary carbs if I use a carb my cam won't support vaccuum secondaries
