Hey guys what do you think about a n2o setup on a '85 z28 w/ stock 305?
Dunno what kind of setup to look at suggestions?

is it carbureted or TPI, auto/stick etc. more details would be nice, also you plan on running at the track only or what are your plans. other mods...?

its TPI pretty much street car. has stock everything what kinda mods am i lookin at? doing to take like a 75 shot? or should i think lower like 50?

well you can go with a nozzle type kit from dynotunenitrous.com. i think the LT1 kit will work but you can call them up and ask them. or jegs or summit has the nitrous works plate kit that i hear is very good. along with the kit your gonna need a fuel pressure safety switch, blow down tube, window switch and possibly some other small things but you could run a 100 shot on it and be fine assuming the engine is in good shape. also youll want to get colder plugs for the nitrous and retard the timing a little, which is very easy on your car compared to LT1/LS1.hehe. good luck. let us know how it goes or if you got any more questions.

start low, given the age of the engine what works on a newer car may kill yours

I'd do a compression check to see how the piston rings are doing. How many miles are on the motor?
