I like the hookers but they don't have the emissions hook ups.I have to have that for inspection purposes down here.Looks like I will be going with the Pace Setters,@ 450.00 for the ceramic coated at Jegs and the have the emissions crap I have to have.

You said you didn't want the long tube type- not sure why, but anyway make sure you get the right ones if you are getting Pacesetters.
Typically Pacesetter's are known for their long-tube type that are decently priced for out cars. They do make a mid-length which I think is what you are referring to.

The reason for not wanting long tubes is for future clearence issues. After checking around I think I might go withe the Mac headers. What are anyone's opinions on these. From what I have found so far they are good quality and no big issues with clearence, plus they give great access to change the plugs from the top which is a big plus in my book.Only about 50.00 bucks more the the Pace Setters

SLPs and the BBKs you listed are the only ones CARB approved so those are the ones you might need for smog.
with pacesetter LTs there are no ground clearance issues. talk to gentner he has em and he says they fit great.
if you still want mids get Mac mids. i had them on my Z and i loved them. they dont have an EGR hook up though...at least mine didnt.
