Leak in the intake manifold which just doesn't leak...It basically gushes oil at over 1k rpm. Leaky front crank seal. Leaky cam seal. Leaky tranny lines and speedometer line......It's ****** up...I might just buy a remanufactured short block and swap the heads....I don't know what to do...

sounds like the car sat for a while to need all new seals like that (that is why a car should never sit, low miles = big repair)

well they got cars running these days where if you mess with emissions the cars wont even run right...so there are very limited things you can do to a car to eliminate some of the emissions like O2 Simulators and EGR deletion...I know if I deleted my EGR...I would fail emissions so fast it isnt even funny, wish I could get rid of it, but what ever.

why get rid of it? It doesn't hurt performance at all (at WOT it is bypassed)

The emissions isn't the problem...All that needs is o2 sensors and MAYBE a cat.

As for the oil....I found out it SHOOTS oil out the back of the intake manifold...But it's all getting fixed by friday..

1200$ later...****. Well it will run like a champ after...I CAN'T WAIT

Here's to stupid ******* and a money pit!

Shots all around!

Sorry to hear that man. Private sellers are definitely hit or miss. I definitely got lucky with my car. My dad and I looked it over and took the guys word that it was a solid car. The only other thing I would do next when purchasing a car is take it to a local shop to be inspected. Spending a 100 bucks to have it looked over and diagnosed may end up saving you hundreds down the road.

In your case there's not much you could have done. Some people just suck lol.

Hope the **** is easy to fix. I would just get a tune for either a local performance shop or a programmer like madz28. Heck the car will run better afterwards anyways, it's a good investment.

Well my dad and I looked it over and whatnot...It started that like a week after I bought it. I think they put thicker oil in it and such...

But it's gonna be all fixed up by friday.

By a tune you mean a chip? What do I have to do to install it? Around how much do they run?
