From an auto tech point of view, you should check your fuilds every time you gas up. Just put the pump on auto fill, and do it while you wait. Spend 5 mins, or run it without oil and crack a head, the choice is yours

I know I can check the fluids.. I just havent done it lately, or had time. Ive been walking places now and driving less. Ill probably do it tomorrow since its my day off after class.
I thought its not good to switch to synthetic with high miles? Im almost at 105k now.. I wanted to do that, but I thought Ive read places not to.

off topic but funny---at work this summer i was filling up a quad axle dump truck with fuel and walked inside to talk as usual. came out and the auto-shutoff sensor didnt kick in haha. we had to suck up over 70 gallons of fuel. it was so funny!
secondly, paar you have time. takes like 30 seconds. or you can do the usual and make 4 threads on what the best way to do so is
and third, i like synthetic. ran it in all things that i care about (my bikes). in older cars (and this is just my opinion) i think its better to run a little thicker oil. helps quite them down and fill in the wore out spots.
i run cat diesel engine oil in my car. runs like a champ! starts rough in the winter but she purrs with no noises

Like I said, I dont drive my car much, so I really have no reason to check the **** everyday. Go back to a bike forum jakass.

Anyways, I checked it today and I was a quart low... I have 2k left before I need an oil change. So either my cars burnin like a ****, or Merit chevrolet ****** me over. And Im starting to think the latter.. The oil does not look by any means new. Ive only driven it 1000 since the change I guess I really havent checked what it should look like, but it looks like when I change it 2k later. I really wanna go back and *****, since it took them an hour and a half to do it anyway.. appearantly.
On a side note, what color is PS supposed to be? I got some stuff today that was like clearish blue, and the stuff Ive got in there now is like brownish orange.
I think im gonna also change the PCV valve, and probably get my coolant system flushed soon also. Just do a little preventative maintnence to make myself feel better.

That happened to me like a year ago.
