You can switch at any time it won't do any damage it will probably help your engine more (dyno oil causes sludge, and some brands will get solid I have seen it on a new vehicle where the dyno oil wouldn't drain and the stick read full, third oil change and only 6000 miles on the vehicle)
There are always going to be two sides to any discussion when it comes to product viability, my personal oppinion is synthetic is not a good idea on high mileage engines, give me a new one, and sure, I might run it... if they bought it for me ... until then... havoline 10w30.

the last time i cleaned under my hood i broke my windshield...had my windshield wipers up and my hood pressed against them and crack...here is a pic of it
I circled where the windsheild was cracked and then it spidered up! I also marked out the VIN # just for my own privacy...(prob doesnt matter...)

Ok-well I guess we'll have to spell out next time not to put your hood with your wipers up- I don't know about anyone else- but if I started feeling resistance I wouldn't just keep pushing the hood up..nor would I just let the hood fly up either..but I guess thats just me.
