Power steering pump

i was just curious. Now that it is cold whenever i start the car the steering is very stiff, not excessive, but quite noticeable, but after 5 minutes or so it goes to normal. Is there a problem or is that just something that happens?

probably just the cold. fluid doesnt pressurize as well in cold---i think
