I give nitrous guys credit when they have fast cars- but lets look at a quick comparison between juice and boost-
NITROUS
1.) realize you are going to need it-
2.) pull over and go to your trunk to open your bottle (can be skipped if its within arm reach or you spent $200 on a remote bottle opener)
3.) check to see how much juice you have left
4.) purge your system
5.) check your bottle pressure
6.) arm the system
7.) now you are ready to go.
8.) if you were cheap and didn't buy the window switch then you have to concentrate on making sure you are only spraying under load- taking attention from driving.

OR

BOOST
1.) realize you are about to race-
2.) floor it and away you go- peak horse/ tq without having to worry about what rpm's you are at.

Don't be mad, like I said- I give respect to all fast cars but I'll keep my boost thanks-

Matt- its still in the torn down stage- should be back up and running this spring- going to see how much power can be made with a little P600 blower and stock heads. I know some people think its dumb, but its my own personal goal. If we can get 550 rwhp out of it I'll be happy for the time being.

Joe I would much rather have a blower as well but there's just no comparsion when you look at the price. If I had several thousand dollars to spend I would get a Procharger for my LS1 but I just don't have that kind of money just sitting around.

Same. Mine will be turbo'd (everyone says this I know) but for now, nitrous is cheap and efficent.

Touche- (sp?)

I wouldn't have mine either but I got a SMOKING deal on it that I couldn't pass up. Honestly I was thinking juice at one point too- but I'm glad stumbled across the deal. Chad- you of all people should know what its like to get a deal like that.

And the idea of juice hasn't totally left my mind either, but I would only use it in addition to the blower. Once you get boosted, you'll never want to give it up!

you will love the juice. one thing the juice gots over a blower is when you hit the button you got instent TQ, where the procharger has to build it threw out the rpm.

and before any one else jump me about that i have plenty of friends around here that ru na prochager and turbos on there f-bodys, so i know

If your car is set-up with the good cam/head combo your tq should be pretty flat with your hp just growing thru the RPM range with a blower-

The torque also goes up slightly, but I bet that car vs. car with similar set-ups it would be a close race.

Hence why I mounted my bottle between the rear sets with the nozzle facing forward. It takes me all of 5 seconds to open up the bottle, flip my arm switch and purge the system.

Granted, I would MUCH rather have a turbo setup than nitrous, the cost to cost ratio is ridiculous.

yep cost is such a huge thing if i can rebuild a new 3.4 nitrous would go on it only because to turbo is about 2 times as much money
