question about fast toys ram air intake

I INSTALLED A FAST TOYS RAM AIR SYSTEM ON MY 1998 CAMARO V6-3800....I UNDERSTAND THAT SINCE THE INTAKE ITSELF BLOCK MY RADIATOR MY ENGINE HEAT UP FAST...I ALSO INSTALLED A MANUAL FAN SWITCH AND A 180 THERMOSTAT (NO PCM TUNING YET)..ITS BEEN HOT HERE LATELY(CA) AND IT SEEMS THAT MY CAR IS HEATING UP TOO FAST AND NOTICE SOME POWER LOSS. DOES ANYBODY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH FAST TOY RAM AIR...I FEEL THAT MY CAR IS NOW ONLY GOOD FOR LOCAL DRIVING ...LESS THAN 50 MILES OR IT WILL HEAT UP...IM EVEN THINKING OF REMOVING THIS INTAKE .
