Thumbs up Removing Tint Spray from Plastic

Well it took a day to get the paint off of the Tail lights, spoiler light, and sidemarkers but I finally found out how. I found out from looking around on the internet that if you use Pine Sol and let just the parts that have paint on them soak in it for a few hours, you can scrub it off with an old cloth. It took a bit of scrubbing but it didn't hurt any of my lights at all. I ended up using the whole bottle of Pine Sol but they almost look new to me now.

What's wrong with just useing Goof-Off or Lighter Fluid?

Just the smallest amount of Goof-Off will remove paint over-spray as easy as wiping finger prints off a window with Windex. But that way works too.

You're right though.......they do look nice and clean.

I sure am glad you mentioned that. I've been using this stuff on so many things lately, I'm pretty fortunate I never used it on anything plastic yet.

I know the stuff works killer on removing over spray from chrome!
