Rotors
#16
I know they're not good, but just to get things running right, I picked up front rotors from Murray's for $15 each. They've got a year warranty, but I don't plan on having them in for any more than a month. I bought the car a week or two ago, and the rotors were shot. I didn't really notice it until I took it on good ol' I-696, where around rush hour, traffic goes from 70 to 20 in record time. Needless to say, I needed something fast, and cheap. I will be ordering some new ones after payday, but I can't drive on trashed rotors.
I put em in today, and when I take off the driver's side wheel, there's my sway bar buffer, not connected. I was so busy noticing the trashed rotors on the car, I didn't even notice the steering was off. Anyway, looks like a screw on bolt job, nice and easy. So far, only $30 on repairs, but that's gonna add another $30 if I'm not mistaken. I think I'll keep a running tally or repair costs vs. upgrade costs just to find out.

Depending on the price it might be cheaper to get new rotors, I know I can get new rotors for $8 bucks so I'm better off just buying new rotors then having them turned. At my job we use to be able to turn our own rotors for free but with new managment I doubt that is going to work out.
