im new to here and read that you can get a tune to have the ses light turned off? is this true and how can you do it?

Yes, this is true. You must have your PCM tuned and codes erased to do it. Either you need to goto a Dynotune shop, or goto www.pcmforless.com or www.texas-speed.com and send them your PCM to be reflashed.
