how do you change an auto shift **** in a 94 Z.

theres a pin in the front of the shifter... easiest way is to put blocks behind the car to keep it from rolling back... put it in 1st, or whatever is the furthest back gear, and use a screwdriver to pry out the little pin (looks like a staple when its out).. then it just comes right off.

yeah i had to use a pair of pliars on mine...but its an easy thing to do...about a 30 seconds...

any aftermarket automatic **** should work...atleast i think it should, im not sure about that though, but being aftermarket it will have the allen head screws that will hold it in...i had an aftermarket one on mine but the allen head screws werent enough to hold it on, and i didnt have any adapter things to make it a tighter fit, plus with my bass the top of the shifter always vibrated...it was annoying, but thats bc it was a cheap one...
