Shocks

When i changed my rear end i realized how bad the rear shocks are. I want to change them but i can't find where the top of them is bolted in to. Keep in mind my car is a convertible. Where are the mounting points? What shocks do you think would be good. I need some feedback! Thans in advance

the tops are under the trim in the back (gotta pull all that crap) I think the top has to be up also to get to them (the vert is a coupe that had the top cut off at a custom shop, they were not a factory piece, all aftermarket)

first and 4th gens are the only factory convertables (pull the trim on top of the quarters, and you can see where they used the sawzall to cut the roof off a 3rd gen)
