For my turbo set up, I paid $1,800 shipped. That was Precision PT61T350T4.68 Turbo, Precision 1021 Front mount intercooler, Tial 44mm Wastegate, Tial 50mm BOV, Force Fed Fabrications Turbo Piping, everything, I didn't have to buy anything else to install it. (I already had all the supporting mods because of my engine build up that was in progress at the time)

That wont last long, its going to sell quick. All you need is a turbo, BOV and wastegate then tune it.

We already talked about that. He thought he had around 300 with his bolt-ons. Its a common misconception, when in fact 220 is more around the real area.

And for a turbo, with supporting mods, including a new rear end, is going to cost you in the realm of $6,000-12,000 depending on how far you go. (Chances are you'll need a high performance tranny, the t-5 is a peice of junk, and the 4L60E is undependable for that kind of strain)

I don't even want to think about how much money went into my engine. The cost of parts was crazy. But, their are no good performace shops around here that I trust, so I had everything rebuilt and installed at the dealership. It was $75 a hour, but at least I know everything was done right. I had me headwork done elsewhere of course, but everything was put together and installed at the dealership. It took me forever to talk them into it. But I told them money won't a issue, because I had a car show to make and they did it. Another reason I let them do it is because they took the motor out in 3 hrs, rebuilt the motor in a week (probably didn't take them that long, but the car was getting the engine bay sprayed) Then they installed the engine, tranny, turbo, BMR k-member, BMR A-arms, they started at 8am and I loaded it back on the trailer to go home at 5pm

wow i wish i was in the situation im in right now.. pahte you could do that turbo kit.. plus the actual turbo, wastegate, and bov package the "baseball" guy posted on the other forum.. and with the $50 charge for a downpipe you could b eup and running for under a grand right there.. def not show quality but a good start.. the parts/tubing could propably be easily replicated for cheap to guys here on the forum to make your money back as well
