Small problem. I hope

Ok, i pulled my car out of the driveway to drop off a movie, and i heard a metal scraping noise, like an exhaust pipe was dragging on the ground, but after a quick look(it was night, so with a flashlight). I couldn't see anything that was out of place. Sunday I hope to get it up in the air and take a closer look. Does anyone have any idea of something to look for?

My problem is that I can't see anything hanging loose out of place, and the car functions perfectly aside from the occasional sound. From what I can tell there isn't anything dragging on the ground, so my question is, could it be anything else that would make a similar noise to a pipe being drug on the ground.

an axle, brakes, wheels or somthing? Those are really the only moving parts that would make a grinding sound like that? Maybe you just had somthing under your car, or someone was an ******* and put a can under there or somthing? Have you heard it since? If not, it was probably just somthing you scraped underneath, or as said above, the air dam
