Sparkplugs and Wires

Since my Z is new to me I want to do a complete tuneup myself but I'm not sure which spark plugs or spark plug wires to go with.

Go with either Taylor custom or Taylor OVC's and NGK TR55's. That's what I put on mine and I am very happy with them.

Everyone seems pretty happy with the Taylor wires.. out of all the wires here, what would be your top 3 arch? I am always interested to hear your opinion. http://www.ftpp.net/V6Ignition.htm#Wires

I've had good luck with accel, bosche, and ac (they have the same resistance reading as the high dollar ones usually) nology is supposed to be good stuff I never tried them, mallory seemed about the same as the msd the ends came off when I tried to read plugs

TPiS should have a decent set of wires for your LS1- and Bosch plugs have always been good for me. I know NGK's work the best in my sled, so I know they make decent 2 stroke plugs, I would assume that they make good plugs for cars too.

Not that this really applies, I tried a set of Denso's in my sled and I fouled them out in the first ten miles. I am the type of person who once a brand is junk for me it takes some convincing to tell me otherwise.

Thanks, I never thought of them. Whenever I think of TPiS I think of headers, heads, etc... I'm going to check out their site.

Question

[QUOTE=camaro94]Everyone seems pretty happy with the Taylor wires.. out of all the wires here, what would be your top 3 arch? I am always interested to hear your opinion.

would the 8.5mm MSD wires or the 8mm Taylor wires be better ?

It is funny how two years can change opinions though. Even though I know you are not looking any more, now I would have to recommend Magnecor wires and TR6 plugs.
